Scoring method
Each tool gets a score out of 100. Tiers: S ≥ 85, A 70–84, B 55–69, C < 55.

Rules
- Sponsors never affect rank. Sponsored placements are clearly labelled and separate.
- Every tool lists sources; affiliate links, if any, will be disclosed.
- Current rankings are preliminary editorial rankings, not yet benchmarked. Benchmarked scores will replace them category by category.
- Unmaintained tools are demoted or removed.
